Commentator pulled up for 'cheat' claim

A British TV commentator Jon Champion, who labelled Luis Suarez "a cheat" following his controversial goal in Liverpool's FA Cup win at Mansfield on Sunday, has been pulled up for doing so

The ball hit Suarez’s wrist before he put Liverpool 2-0 up (they won 2-1).

On viewing the replay, Champion had said: “That, I’m afraid, is the work of a cheat.” Later, ESPN in a statement said: “Comments during the Mansfield v Liverpool tie caused offence where none was intended and we have spoken to our commentator about this.”u00a0
