As soon as the word spread that Yadav has been transferred to north district, cops at the Jafrabad police station started distributing sweets. "Yadav was a very tough taskmaster and that's why his subordinates were very scared of him," police sources told MiD DAY.

After conducting a successful Commonwealth Games, the Delhi Police effected a number of departmental and intra-departmental transfers on Monday.

DCP (North) Sagar Preet Hooda has been transferred to Intelligence Bureau on deputation. Additional DCP (South East) Sanjay Jain has been posted as DCP (North East).

DCP (Supreme Court Security) Ram Kumar has been transferred to Andaman Nicobar administration. JK Sharma, who was the Joint Commissioner of Police Commonwealth Games retains his post and will take the additional charge of Joint Commissioner Police Headquarters.
