Mumbai court orders registration of FIR against 4 to 5 unidentified policemen of Khar Police Station, for forcibly barging into the house of a single woman in a housing society at Pali Hill, Bandra

This act of making a forcible entry into the house of the woman was apparently done without any court order or warrant.u00a0


Advocate Abha Singh took up the case after being informed about the plight of the victim allegedly at the hands of the cops.u00a0


After this matter was taken up, as per the prescribed procedures,


Initially, a complaint was lodged with the police station, but the cops refused to take any action. Thereafter, senior officials were approached and they too took no action.

Follwing the total inaction displayed by police, a case was filed before the Court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Bandra.

This case was argued by advocate Abha Singh and advocate Aditya Pratap. After hearing the entire matter, the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Shri R.B. Agarwal, finally came to the conclusion that a police investigation was required to ascertain the identity of the 4-5 cops, who allegedly barged into the house of the woman.
