She has been meeting him regularly to discuss a certain project and Mohit, who is known to work with young actors, too has warmed up to the idea of casting her in his next project.”
Thought it is not clear whether the film will be produced by the Bhatts or not, sources say that Mohit is working on script for Alia. “Right now, they are focussing on the script and the kind of role Alia will have in the film. In any case, Mohit will have to start this film only after he has completed Hamari Adhuri Kahaani with Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi. So this film should start by next year,” says the source.
The source adds that Alia is likely to portray a serious character in the film, thus taking a detour from her bubbly image. “It will be an image-changing role for her,” says the source.
Both Alia Bhatt and Mohit Suri remained unavailable for comment.
