The shoot of an upcoming film starring Prakash Raj titled 'Bhai Welcome To India' has been shifted from Nepal to Bangkok in view of the recent earthquake
The killer earthquake that struck Nepal exactly a week ago caught the unit of upcoming film 'Bhai Welcome To India' off guard. Vinay Sharma’s directorial debut was supposed to roll in mid-May in the jungles of the Himalayan nation, but the calamity forced him to reconsider his plans. So now it’s destination Bangkok for his cast and crew.
Says a source, “The shoot was set to start on May 15 in Nepal jungles. The location had been decided after a thorough hunt and the forest suited the script well. Unfortunately, the earthquake has hit everyone hard. To reach the jungles, we had to cross Kathmandu which wouldn’t be possible now.”
Right now, the director and his team are in Bangkok scouting for appropriate locations. Vinay had posted online: “It’s very sad that my original location for shoot in Nepal is unfortunately in a state of crisis. But the show never stops. Off to Bangkok!”
