Wounded tigers Royal Challengers Bangalore have nothing to lose and the Virat Kohli-led team which is all but out of contention for the playoffs can be really dangerous.

Whatever minuscule chances they have, after various permutations and combinations are too real to be true. Pride then, is all there is to play for when they take Mumbai Indians at Wankhede-Stadium this afternoon.

RCB is too good a team to be failing with such regularity. If the highs are mind-boggling, the lows are shocking and unbelievable. They will now look to take something back from the remaining matches in the tournament. They have somehuge reputations to safeguard in the coming days. The way AB de Villiers was destroying every net bowler during practice yesterday afternoon, MI better watch out. He definitely seemed to be in the mood to settle some scores. AB hasn't done anything noteworthy this season and a big one could be just round the corner and MI could be the first team to bear some brunt of his anger. RCB skipper Kohli and Chris Gayle gave nets a miss, but the rest of the team got down to some serious business under the watchful eye of head coach Daniel Vettori. They didn't look like a team that have lost everything just two days ago.

After the thrilling Super Over win against Gujarat Lions on Saturday night, MI understandably skipped practice yesterday. They have been playing some smart cricket this season and have rightly taken the second spot in the points table with 14 points from seven wins. That they have lost just one game at home this season should also give MI a distinct edge over RCB today.

Moreover, on current form, MI shouldn't have any difficulty in pocketing two points from this tie. But, big names and formidable teams have failed without much logic or reason, like RCB have this season, so get ready to expect the unexpected.
