After Anil Kumble confirmed that, his resignation as Team India coach came because of a rift between him and Indian skipper Virat Kohli, a few Indian cricket fans expressed their anger towards Kohli and blamed him for Anil Kumble's resignation.

The Kumble-Kohli fiasco seems to take a different turn now with some fans wanting former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni to return as Team India captain.

After the sudden step down of Anil Kumble, fans took to social media demanding the return of MS Dhoni as captain. India’s defeat in the ICC Champions Trophy to Pakistan was another reason for rage and demand for a change in captaincy.

Anil Kumble's resignation flooded Twitter with messages for MS Dhoni replacing Virat Kohli as captain and here are some of those that followed:

It was during Dhoni's tenure that India won the 2011 World Cup once again and created a history in international cricket.
