"The world knows me as 'Abha' and idolises me as a bahu (daughter-in-law), beti (daughter) or a life partner. The show gave me an opportunity to constantly challenge my acting abilities with the various twists and turns and I've received a very favourable response from the industry. I'll definitely miss the show," Suhasi said in a statement.

Karan echoed the sentiments, and said: "This was like my second home. I have spent more hours on the sets of the show in these three years than at home! But I am extremely happy and thank the entire cast and crew for working so hard to make the show popular and run for so long which is rare in today's TV scenario."

"Both Suhasi and I played so many different characters in this show even while playing the lead roles that it is definitely a landmark in my acting career. I feel very proud and lucky to be a part of such a milestone show," he added.u00a0
