Have a particular footwear design in mind but don’t know where to source these from? Well, not anymore. Sole’d Shoes, an online customised shoemaker brand, is in the city to make all the ladies fall head over heels.
Started by three women — Karishma Parkash Suri, Nita Parkash and Sonam Parkash, who felt the need for customised shoes themselves, the philosophy behind Sole’d Shoes is simple: make shoes that please the eyes and suit the customer and not the other way round,” says Suri, one of the founding partners of the online store. “You could also pick your favourite shoes from one of the many designs available on our website and customise them as per your choice,” she adds.

Think of a situation: you liked a pair of stilettos, but want them in red to match with your stunning number, or wish to add a few inches to the heel or prefer extra cushioning for comfort; Sole’d Shoes will accommodate all these tweaks and several more, as per your convenience. The price of shoes starts at Rs 1,000, and while a change is colour is for free, a heel upgrade costs just Rs 100-200 while extra padding comes for as less as Rs 50-100. The prices could rise, if you’d prefer embellishments like crystals.
Suri says that a shoe is prepared only after final confirmation from the client. “We send photographs of the shoe to the client, which goes for production only after it’s okayed by the customer. One can make any amount of change in the design until it’s confirmed,” she says.
While the shoes could be ordered online, payment is made only through cash on delivery and products are delivered outside Mumbai as well after payment of a delivery charge up to Rs 200.
