Not everyone is fortunate enough to wake up in the vicinity of the iconic landmarks of south Mumbai and experience the charm of the old city as it wakes up. So Mumbai Travellers, a travel and tour company, have organised a cycle ride, starting from Colaba with breakfast.

Trekking, cycling and backpacking division head, Vaibhav Khaire, says that he used to try and be out with his cycle every time he was awake early and south Mumbai ride is particularly pleasing. "Places like Worli Sea Face, Bandra Bandstand, Shivaji Park, Nariman Point or Gateway of India have a special charm in the morning. I encouraged others for the ride but who will do all this just for fitness?"

The plan will combine a delicious breakfast and travel along with a process of getting together a bunch of people to enjoy the ride in a group. The ride starts from Olympus restaurant in Colaba where participants can tuck into omelette, keema and custard. After exploring the monuments in Fort area, the group will head towards CST and Marine drive, ending the ride near Colaba Causeway.

"This ride is designed in a way that you can spend time with yourself on empty roads, enjoying the beauty of nature and the city. The food too is delicious. What can be a better way to start the day?" Khaire signs off.
