Website allows you to place purchase orders on crackers after watching videos of them in action

Online Boom: The company is also taking orders through SMS and a

What's more, the order for delivery of the fireworks can be placed online so that you don't even have to leave the comforts of your home.

City-based entrepreneur Chandrasekhar Buddha is the CEO of TheIndiaMarket, a location and deals-based company that delivers goods to the citizens of the city. The website has added videos of every firecracker that is on sale, allowing you to check out the colours, the sound and the duration that the cracker lasts for.

"We are getting a great response," said Chandrasekhar. "A vast majority of Bangaloreans are tech-savvy and the website addresses a common problem. People have been viewing our videos and making purchase decisions based on them."

The website has received more than 10,000 hits in the last three days and made more than 3,000 cracker sales. Popular crackers so far include the deluxe ground chakkars, rockets, fountains, and 'atom bombs'. The company is also taking orders through SMS and a dedicated mobile application.

"We're just testing the waters at the moment. Our customer base will definitely increase once we go national," said Chandrasekhar.
