A multi-cuisine menu to boast of, an alfresco sit down diner and a exuberant dance floor, Lure truly lives up to its name

Foot tapping in a swish nightclub till the wee hours, and then gobbling up pitiable paranthas by a roadside dhaba, oh! the woes of being a party animal in the Capital.u00a0
The interiors of theu00a0Lure are surreal
Thankfully, it seems a recently opened watering hole is to our rescue. Lure, a multi-cuisine Kitchen & Bar tries to juxtapose fine food with dancing. We tried giving it the acid test and ended up sinking teeth in some sumptuous grub and shaking a leg too.
Italy se Lebanon tak
The restaurant spreads across a vast area of 8500 sq ft divided into three zones. It has an alfresco area with a group of shacks. Then there are the water cascades too and a dash of surrealism. The eatery houses two chefs. While the Oriental chef Jeevan specialises in sushi, lobsters and lamp chops, the Lebanese Chef Bisht churns out the Lebanese affair. The elaborate menu made it equally tough to choose, but we opted to start our meal with some bruschetta.
The 15th century starter that originated in central Italy seemed to have undergone a lovely transformation in 21-century India. The popping over their grilled bread included the regular olives and artichokes and tossed mushrooms and parsleys. But we would specially recommend the green tomatoes on the crostini breads, which gave a sweet and salty taste with a hint of fig. We added a little French touch to it by ordering a vegetable ratatouille alongside. The crispen tofu was delectable too.
This apart, we also went in for the Lebanese mezze platter. The hummus, babaganoush, tabouleh, labneh, falafel accompanied it with the homemade pita bread wins our vote.
With pizza being their self-claimed specialty, the chef made sure that we tried that too. The new fad, thin crust pizzas came with multi -toppings. And with an open station, it was a delight to soak in the aroma of freshly spread cheese as the chef dexterously went down to his business. Out of everything we tried the olive and pepperoni toppings were the sure shot winners. Kudos to the chef for belting out a new variety every time! The drinks made for an eclectic ensemble and would be the perfect accompaniment to your meals. For teetotallers there are plenty of mock tails and juices to keep them going.
Light and sound
The lounge area that houses the dance floor welcomes to our own desi Star Trek set, well of course minus voyagers in shiny space suits. Time and dough has been spent for an extravagant visual effect. From white lights, fast scanners to Phoenix live, the software used in professional laser shows. The altering streaks of colours and an avant-garde bar are the plus point here. Once at the bar, do check out the interesting backdropu00a0-- an amalgamation of all things frozen in the passage of time whether it is the reindeer or the old TV set we saw when we were young.
