It was December, 1997 when I met Puneet for the first time.u00a0 It was a common friend's party in Dehradun. I was accompanied by my friends and so was Puneet. He asked me to the dance floor and since then we are dancing to each other's tunes.

Yeh dooriyaan

Our relationship was different in the sense that we practically never dated. Post the party we kept in touch and soon, we became very good friends.u00a0 Being in army made Puneet spend most of his time inthe field, but even then he used to call up every now and then. Moreover, he wrote love letters too.

Only you

There has never been a better beginning to any year in my life than 2004. Puneet had completed his training andu00a0 proposed to me on the New Year's night. His words were so sincere that I couldn't stop myself fom saying an instant yes.

Honestly, I had decided much earlier that if I ever I marry someone, it has to be Puneet. After all he was so irresistible. In one of his letter he had mentioned, "Given a chance by God, I would like to be reborn as Laxmi."

It was not only sweet but also very moving. We got married on January 14, 2005.

Our four years of marriage have been simply beautiful. After marrying Puneet, I feel more freer than I used to be. The support, care and confidence that Puneet has given me is incredible. With him I know, I will never fall.

Army wife

Puneet has his transfers every three years but right now he is posted in Delhi. I couldn't possibly be more thankful for I get to see him every single day. Nonetheless, I think this distance helps us in keeping the magic alive. My father, too, was an army personnel, so I completely understand the challenges army wives face.

Having said that, whenever I feel the distance is too much to ask for, I go visiting him. I simply love spending time with him. On several grounds, we think alike. Both of us read a lot and write too. As both of us are Sagittarians, we are excessively into outdoor sports. Our life in true sense is 'adventurous'.

Valentine ke funde

With a partner like Puneet, everyday is Valentine's for me.u00a0 But talking record wise, this Valentine'su00a0like every yearu00a0we will be with our friends and I know Puneet will definitely gift me my favourite flowersu00a0yellow roses.
