Daniel Radcliffe to play journalist in new film 'Tokyo Vice'

The 24-year-old has signed in to portray real life journalist Adelstein in the film, which is adapted from the writer's memoir, Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan, reports

The project chronicles the American's experiences as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Press Club, during which he exposes a corruption scandal and help end Yakuza gang boss Goto Tadamasa's reign of terror.

'Tokyo Vice' will go on floors next summer.
