Scream star David Arquette is engaged to girlfriend Christina McLarty. The 42-year-old actor proposed to actress McLarty, 33, in Malibu on July 2. The couple has been together on and off since 2011.

They welcomed a son, Charlie, in April 2014. Coincidentally, David’s ex-wife, Friends star Courteney Cox, announced her engagement to Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid on June 26. The couple has been dating for six months. Cox and Arquette — who have a 10-year-old daughter, Coco, together — finalised their divorce last year.
Arquette is known for films such as Eight Legged Freaks and Never Been Kissed and had a recurring role on Pushing Daisies. McLarty appeared on The Young and The Restless and hosted syndicated talent show Gimme the Mike!
