David Beckham has become the first English footballer to win championships in four different countries after Paris Saint-Germain sealed the Ligue 1 title with a 1-0 victory over Lyon.
Star footballer David Beckham set a record on Sunday night as he won yet another league title with Paris Saint-Germain.
Even as PSG and its fans were rejoicing after claiming its first championship in 19 years following a 1-0 win at Lyon, Backham was celebrating becoming the first Englishman to win league titles in four different countries.

The former England captain has won titles with Manchester United in England, Real Madrid in Spain, Los Angeles Galaxy in America and now Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG end 19-year wait for French Ligue 1 title
Paris Saint-Germain sealed their first Ligue 1 title since 1994 with a 1-0 win at Lyon on Sunday.
Marseille's 2-1 win over Toulouse on Saturday, their fourth success in a row, had ensured PSG would have to keep the champagne on ice until after their own game.
But former AC Milan winger Jeremy Menez scored the only goal of the game against a limp Lyon side and that proved enough to deliver the silverware.
Menez's goal in the 53rd minute secured the club seven points ahead of Marseille but the title is yet to be confirmed by a league disciplinary panel which will decide whether or not to deduct points, following PSG sporting director Leonardo's shoulder-barge with a referee last weekend.
"I am very happy, especially because it is not easy to win here," said PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti.
"We showed that we deserved the title. It was a difficult season, but after December we became more solid and compact and things went well."
Ancelotti added that he hasn't discussed his future with the club's ambitious Qatari owners.
"We have not had the time. There are still two games to play, we will respect our rivals and the championship."
He added: "I have had a great deal of confidence in the title because the players have the best individual quality."
Ancelotti believes David Beckham will extend his stay with the Ligue 1 title favourites.
Beckham joined the Parc des Princes outfit on a short-term deal in January and has won praise from many for his assured displays, particularly in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona.

Beckham's contract with PSG will run out in June, unless the club plans to keep him.
And if coach Ancelotti is to be believed then the ball is in Beckham's court. Ancelotti believes Beckham will extend his stay with the Ligue 1 titleholders. He feels the 38-year-old 's tactical aptitude has been useful to their cause.
"I think he will stay," the former Chelsea manager said. "He has lost pace but has improved tactically. He always shows the right attitude and is not so young any more but is still playing at the age of 38.”
