The late singer had said that he didn’t want a funeral, and therefore, was cremated in presence of family and a few close friends
New York: David Bowie's body has been privately cremated in New York. If sources are to be believed, there will be no memorial service for late singer David Bowie.
An insider revealed that the Bowie family is extremely private just like the singer, who had a very small circle of friends and confidantes.
Bowie died of cancer on Sunday, aged 69. He had released a new album, Blackstar, just two days earlier — which has been interpreted as his epitaph.
