His name is enough to drive EDM lovers crazy. However, David Guetta's shows in India this year have faced several hurdles. After the Bengaluru gig was called off due to "security reasons", and the January 13 Mumbai gig was canned due to non-completion of legal formalities, his fans had the opportunity of watching him perform yesterday when the

Sunburn Arena event finally took place. This was Guetta's first charitable outing. "The goal was to donate proceeds towards a charity that ensures education of less privileged children," said Guetta, as he went on to speak about what brings him back to India and Bollywood.

You first visited India in 2012, and you've been frequenting the country since.
India is beautiful. The fact that EDM is still growing here is exciting. Also, Indian fans are amazing and dedicated.

Have you heard of Bollywood?
Yes, of course. The industry is so big. I have watched a Hindi film before (can't recall the name). I'm up for watching more of them.

Is there a sense of competition among the world's top DJs?
I think we are all doing what we love to do. So, there's a lot of respect among DJs. Most of them are great friends, actually.
