Debt-ridden couple commits suicide
A cloth merchant and his wife allegedly committed suicide due to heavy loss in the business.

The couple has been identified as Balaji, 44, and his wife Bhuvaneshwari, 40.

Balaji who was running a cloth shop in Nandini Layout had taken a loan of Rs 7 lakh from the bank. After severe loss in business Balaji couldn't repay. He got several notices from the bank to repay the loan.

Dejected, Balaji decided to end his life. He sent his son to his relatives house in Tirupathy and asked his daughter to visit the relative's house and both hanged to the ceiling of the house.

The incident came to light on Tuesday when the neighbours broke open the door to find the bodies hanging.
