A packed schedule may prevent Deepika Padukone from shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Bajirao Mastani' anytime soon
Currently busy with the hectic promotions of Farah Khan’s Happy New Year, Deepika Padukone has her hands full for another six months.
If sources are to be believed, the actress will not be able to join the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project, Bajirao Mastani, until March next year. The film, which recently went on the floors, will have the actress portray the role of Mastani.
A source said, “After Happy New Year releases, Deepika will start shooting for Piku with Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan, which is likely to be completed by December. She will then move on to shoot for Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the months of January and February. Only after that, most probably in March, will she be able to join the Bajirao Mastani team.”
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh have already started their schedule for Bhansali’s film.
Deepika’s spokesperson remained unavailable for comment.
