There would be a double connect for the Delhiites to Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's upcoming flick Delhi 6.

Apart from being about the real Delhi, two young Dilliwallahs are making their tinsel town debut with the movie. Though Aditi Rao Hydari has already done two south Indian movies, 11-year-old Vinayak Doval would be facing the camera for the first time.

Aditi plays Rama, a close friend of Bittoo (the character Sonam playing in the movie) and Vinayak is playing the role of Sonam's brother Bobby.

While Vinayak, a class 6 student, is learning to balance studies with career, Aditi has already moved base to Mumbai to chase the Bollywood dream.

Vinayak's experience in theatre got him the role in the much anticipated flick. Mehra selected Aditi after watching her performance in one of her movies, which went to the National Awards.

"We shot mostly on the outskirts of Jaipur. Being an ensemble cast, the shoot was full of fun and masti. It was like a big picnic. Sonam and Abhishek are real fun-loving guys. We all simply had fun during the making of the movie," Aditi told MiD DAY.

Talking like a veteran Vinayak refused to share the storyline of the film but said he enjoyed shooting with Abhishek. "He used to hang upside down and taught me how to twist your hands without getting hurt. I had a great time shooting for the film."

Having shifted to Mumbai, Aditi said she missed the Mughlai food at Karim's and the sumptuous paranthas at the Paranthewali gali. "For shopping, I think by lanes of old Delhi has lot to offer be it the Dariba Kalan or the Kinari Bazaar."

"I love the food in Chandni Chowk," quipped Vinayak.

Both the actors are quite sure that they would be able to make their mark in the movie. "Rakeysh knows how to make each character play its full potential in the film and this is exactly what he has done," said Aditi.

Vinayak said he has no plans to shift to Mumbai, adding he enjoyed acting a lot.
