A 1,000-page charge sheet has been prepared against six accused
Delhi Police said the charge sheet in the gang rape of a 23 year-old woman in a moving bus will be filed on January 3. The victim died early yesterday in a Singapore hospital, where she had been flown for treatment.
Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Dharmendra Kumar confirmed the news. Just after the death of the victim, police added murder and dacoity charges in the initial FIR, which had attempt to murder, kidnapping or abducting, gang rape and other charges.

An officer said that they have collected all evidences against the accused and have prepared a 1,000-page charge sheet.
In the charge sheet, police clarified the role of the all six accused — Ram Singh, his brother Mukesh, Vinay Sharma, Pawan Gupta and Akshay Thakur — who are in judicial custody.
A juvenile, involved in the case, has been sent to a juvenile justice home. All the accused were arrested between December 17 and 21. The gang-rape victim and her male friend were brutally assaulted by the accused after they boarded the bus around 9.15 pm on December 16 from a bus stop in south Delhi’s Munirka.
