Bollywood actor Abhay Deol's father and industry legend Dharmendra's younger brother Ajit Singh Deol passed away in Mumbai on Friday.

Ajit, who was ailing since past one month and was reportedly under treatment of gall bladder complications, breathed his last on Friday evening around 6.30 pm, family sources said.
As per the various reports, Ajit's condition got worse couple of days back, after which he was admitted to Sunridges hospital in Juhu, Mumbai for treatment.
Reportedly, his son Abhay, Dharmendra and actor Sunny Deol were by his side at the time of his death.
The actor-director had been a part of many Punjabi films besides being known for Hindi movies like 'Khhotte Sikkay' (1974), 'Meharbaani' (1982) and 'Barsaat'(1995).
His funeral took place at Pawan Hans in suburban Juhu here at 9 am on Saturday.
While Dharmendra was seen in tears with his hands folded, his star sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, and nephew Abhay were also present. Other celebrities like Veeru Devgan, Anil Sharma, Anees Bazmee and Annu Kapoor also bid farewell to Ajit.
