Dia Mirza: The Movies I Loved Growing Up

The actress picks her flicks...

The Jungle Book: Quite simply because it was one of the first films I ever saw and it was based upon one of the first stories that was ever read out to me!

Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak: I was equally in love with Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla. I think I saw the film about 16 times! I used to think this was the ultimate love story.

Masoom: I would keep on hearing its track Tujhse Naaraz Nahi... this film is special because there was so much that I could identify with regard to a child having to fit in to a new environment that was guarded by pre-conceived notions and reservations. It was such a beautifully told story.

The Sound of Music: I was spellbound by itu00a0-- the songs, the setting, and the essence of a familyu00a0-- beautifully represented through the film. The following of the film only further etched every memory of the film over the years thus making it an all-time favorite.

Forrest Gump: "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get" and that about sums up the reason for it to be such a special film for me. The film's timeless relevance impacts my life even today.
