Former India skipper Dilip Vengsarkar was felicitated at a function in Surrey, Canada last week, where he gave awards to players from local cricket clubs.
Vengsarkar, who met young cricketers and fans, said he was pleasantly surprised that immigrants in Canada have maintained their love for cricket and are trying their best to improve the game.
“There is no dearth of talent but unfortunately infrastructure for good cricket is lacking here,” said Vengsarkar.
