Los Angeles: Documentary filmmakers across the US have come together to launch an anti-Trump ad campaign.

The first TV spot from the series of ads will run in Butler County, Ohio, on Wednesday, reported Variety.

The first ad, directed by Rachel Gray, features a Republican woman who says that she cannot bring herself to vote for Donald Trump. The ad will run in local spots across 11 cable networks. Gray's credits include "Jesus Camp" and "Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You."

Other filmmakers working on spots are Amy Berg, Amir Bar-Lev, Marshall Curry, Heidi Ewing, Liz Garbus, Rachel Grady, Kristi Jacobson, Gabriel Lonson, Tyler Measom, Diana Whitten and Roger Ross Williams.

The ads are sponsored by Local Voices, a Democratic SuperPAC founded by Lee Hirsch, director of the documentary 'Bully.'

SuperPAC plans to broadcast the ads not just in Ohio but also in Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia and Utah.
