Sylph refers to mythological creatures that are invisible beings of the air. The latest store at MG Road aims to make you look like one, albeit by wearing shiny animal printed skirts. It stocks women's garments and a variety of accessories. Frequented mostly by the college-going crowd, the place promises to have something to suit
every budget.

Ambience: Sylph-The Garb may be small in size but looks elegant and orderly. The interiors are made of dark wood and the walls are white-washed. Clothes hang neatly in closets and necklaces dazzle on the velvet display. One word of advice: Avoid visiting on a crowded day as it may get claustrophobic.u00a0

Range: All the items are sourced from Bangkok and Hong Kong. You will come across an array of fabrics in various designs and colours. Check out halter necks, empire waists and backless tops. The party wear range comes in vivid colours and stunning fabrics. Their denim range is also a favourite among the crowds, where you can pick from leather, animal or synthetic prints. Check out their trendy variety of bags, accessories and glares.

We liked: A silk skirt in beige and metallic blue (Rs 1,500), which was sequined, lace-bordered and had a rose attached to the waist was ideal for a nightout. The velvet and animal print tube dress (Rs 1,250) was also eye-catching. We also liked the black chiffon party wear halter neck and knee length dress (Rs 1,500) with silver shimmer. The neck pieces with wooden beads, crystal and shells (Rs 350 to Rs470) were colourful
and chic.
