Don Bosco vice-principal's police custody extended till January 29

Investigating officer Reshma Mulani of Yerawada police station, after presenting Falcao before the court, sought extension of custody citing that the accused was not cooperating with the police, and that she needed more time to investigate.

Speaking with MiD DAY, defense lawyer AG Inkar said, “Cops want to know more about Falcao. A police team will be visiting Mumbai, where Falcao worked earlier. They want to know the reason why he left his earlier job.”
Falcao, who was charged under sections 354 and 376 under the IPC earlier, has also been booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
