Don't get strand-ed

We might love the nip in the air, but this weather is certainly not the best for our hair. The cold wave can cause dandruff, resulting in hair fall. Hair expert, Jawed Habib gives you tips to how to keep your hair looking luscious and healthy this season:u00a0

>>u00a0Condition your hair regularly to keep it from looking dry. Henna can also be used for conditioning, but mix one tea spoon of oil to it as it is very dry.

>>u00a0Apply oil and use a steamed towel to cover your head. Avoid using coconut oil as it gets frozen in the winters and can stick to the scalp. And the last thing that you would want to happen to you this season is the blocking of pores.

>>u00a0Mix one tea spoon of coconut oil, one tea spoon of lemon juice with Fuller's earth and leave the paste on the hair for one hour. It will help tackle the problem of dandruff.

>>u00a0Don't rinse your hair with hot water. Use normal tap water instead. And if you can bear the cold, use cold water for the last rinse.

>>u00a0Mix a few drops of ginger juice to olive oil and apply it to the roots of the hair. Leave for one hour and then shampoo. Shikakai and methi seeds can be used.

>>u00a0Also apply Bhringraj oil in the night to prevent dandruff and shampoo your hair the next day.

>>u00a0Before washing your hair, comb it with a brush. As a result, dead cells (dandruff) disappear, the oil glands become active and the oil released from oil glands can also be cleaned.

>>u00a0Add two big spoons of thyme to two cups of water. Boil the mixture for ten minutes, filter it and let it cool. Apply this mixture to hair and ensure that the mixture spreads all over. Massage the skull gently. Don't rinse the hair after the treatment.
