Swastika Ghosh of Navi Mumbai, won the youth and junior girls titles in the Bombay YMCA 4th Maharashtra State Ranking table tennis tournament, at the University Pavilion recently. Ghosh fended off the challenge of Thane's Shreya Deshpande in both finals. She won the youth final 4-0 (11-7, 14-12, 13-11, 11-9) and junior final 4-2 (11-7, 4-11, 12-10, 9-11, 11-5, 11-7).

Thane's Sanish Ambekar earned a hard-fought 11-6, 9-11, 7-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-5 win over Ravindra Kotiyan for the youth boys title, while another Thane lad, Deepit Patil, bagged the junior boys crown beating Shaurya Pednekar 11-6, 11-5, 11-9, 11-6).
