'Help! My boyfriend makes me eat veg food'
I don't like vegetarian food, but my boyfriend insists that I eat it whenever we go out

I'm assuming you're not 2 years old. If you don't like it, don't eat it.
I have been married for the past 4 years. My husband is very supportive, but we are still struggling to settle down in life. Whenever we argue or fight, he raises his hand on me and beats me black and blue. I have informed his family about this, but they turn a deaf ear and advise me to adjust with him. I can't take it anymore. Even after all this, we forget everything and stay peaceful for a while, until the next fight. What should I do? Should I divorce him or compromise on my life? — Lorraine
This is domestic abuse and your husband has absolutely no right to lay a finger on you. His family can be arrested too, for ignoring what is essentially a crime. I strongly urge you to speak to a counsellor as well as a lawyer, because this isn't 1916. It's 2017 and you have every right to live without the threat of being beaten by a man who clearly thinks it's okay to hurt a woman. I can't comment on a divorce, considering I don't know how this affects you financially or otherwise, but I think you insult yourself by continuing to be with someone who obviously has no respect for you as a woman, or as a human being. Please speak to your own family an consider doing something about this. You cannot be beaten by anyone, and shouldn't accept it because your silence only encourages people like your husband to get away with what they think is okay. It is not their right; they don't own their wives, and they certainly can't be allowed to get away with this. I think that, at the very least, you should warn him of the possible consequences if he decides to hurt you again.
