Former India captain Rahul Dravid yesterday said he was looking forward to crossing swords with South African pacer Dale Steyn when the two take sides for Rajasthan Royals and Deccan Chargers respectively in an Indian Premier League clash today.
Dravid and Styen played together for Royal Challengers Bangalore last season, and the Indian suggested that could help him handle the speedster better. "I will be playing against Steyn who was my teammate last year as part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. It should be an exciting match," Dravid was quoted as saying by PTI.
While Dravid had moved to Shane Warne-led Jaipur franchise, Chargers would be led by former Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara.
"Deccan is a good team so we are looking forward to play well against them and hopefully try to beat them. We will love to beat them in front of their home crowd. They are very different from last year," he said.
