At Forgetful Elephant, girls will walk in designer wear, Anna caps. Earnings from food bill will go to IAC

Book a date with India's new crusader, Anna Hazare, this weekend. No, we don't advise you to walk to the slush and muck that Ramlila Maidan is right now. Nor do you need to jostle your way through huge crowds. Instead, make your way to a fancy restro-bar in south Delhi's posh Greater Kailash and join the 'march'.

Forgetful Elephant, in the throbbing M Block market, is organising an Anna Walk today, where young college girls will be strutting their stuff wearing caps with 'Anna' written on them as they showcase a festive collection by wardrobe planner Kavita Ghai. The organisers are also planning to donate a part of the earnings from the food bill to India Against Corruption's fund.u00a0

"We firmly believe what Anna is doing is right. So we wanted to show our support but without disturbing the public," said Gunveen Singh, co-owner. So students will show off a mix of Indian and Pakistani ensembles, while Sufi music plays in the background.

The organisers are also planning to donate a part of the earnings to India Against Corruption fund. They have also roped in a singer to sing a song that he has composed on Hazare. A lot of Delhi socialites are also expected to attend the do. "If we are allowed to take the walk to Ramlila Maidan, we will certainly do that," said Seema Relan, one of the organisers.u00a0
