The battle to watch out for in today's match is the one between Shane Bond (KKR) and Virender Sehwag (Delhi).
True, the two haven't squared off too often in the international arena but the kind of influence they can have on the match is unbelievable. The last time Sehwag faced the fiery Kiwi paceman was three years ago in the T20 World Cup in South Africa where he held the upper hand as he got his side off to a good start with a 24-ball 40. Bond conceded 39 from his four overs. However, the former policeman from New Zealand has dismissed Sehwag two times in their last four meetings.
Sehwag carries a load of expectations in the Delhi side being the opening batsman and the experienced pro. His job is to make sure they get off to a good start.
Bond on the other hand, is making a comeback of sorts this season having spent time on the sidelines after being banned from international cricket for his Indian Cricket League participation.
