After a fresh directive by the Delhi University, many colleges came out with the eight cut-off list for OBC candidates on Tuesday.
In many cases, the required percentages were brought to as low as 70 per cent, even for much sought after courses such as Economics and Commerce. The fresh list shows that many colleges still have many vacant seats in the reserved category.
With colleges failing to fill their mandated 27 per cent OBC quota, the University had ordered colleges to lower the cut-off marks for the category and not convert any of the reserved seats to general category.
The list has come even after classes have begun for the academic season. Among the colleges that lowered the cut offs were Hansraj, Hindu, Kamala Nehru, Deshbandhu, Dayal Singh, Miranda House and Sri Venkateswara.
