Elli, 25, got noticed after participating on the seventh season of celebrity reality show "Bigg Boss", which was hosted by Salman.
"I am grateful for whatever he has done for me. But personal stuff like what he has advised me why should I talk about it. The way he was praising me (on the show) is like a blessing as it was coming from a superstar like him," Elli told PTI.
The 25-year-old actress, who made her acting debut in Bollywood with "Mickey Virus" last year, said she is happy to have Salman as a guide.
"I feel happy to be noticed. I am happy that I have someone, who I can contact. He loves to help people I am glad I am one of those who he is helping," she said.
Elli is gearing up for the release of "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" where she is paired opposite comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma. The film hits theatres on September 25.
