Embracing the Indian culture

Claudia Ciesla is the new firang on the block. And the B-towner is absolutely in love with the Indian culture. Often spotted in a sari and bindi, Claudia tells CS that it isn't an effort on her part to woo Bollywood.u00a0

Desi girl
To be honest with you, I have never got a negative response from the film industry. I have met a lot of producers and directors, and they have welcomed me with open arms. Bollywood is now going western. Many of them have promised me that they'll take me on as soon as they have a role of a western girl.

Role play
In Bollywood you earn a role not by your contacts, but by your talent. Different offers come to me, even several item numbers, but I turn them down. I don't mind doing one that is a part of my role, but not otherwise.
My first priority these days is to learn Hindi. I have to know the local language to understand the culture around. I also want to confidently tell the taxiwallas,u00a0 'Muhje Dadar jana hai!'

Also, I am no fake. People think that I don the Indian look to enter Bollywoood, but I don't. Before going to Bigg Boss, I already had six saris and God knows how many kurtis. It is just that I love the Indian culture. And to enter Bollywood, I don't need to talk in Hindi as everyone here speaks in English!
