Emerging Star may cause an upset

Eight class II runners will vie for the six-furlong Kailashpat Singhania Trophy, the feature event of today's bumper, ten-race card.

The race is reserved for horses aged 5 or over, and there is a strong possibility that Brave Vision, Sugar Loaf & Snow Blaze may be fancied more than the rest.

However, the Malesh Narrredu-trained Emerging Star, who who has been knocking at the doors but may be ignored by the betting public because she is considered a five-furlong phenomenon, may be able to shock this field.
