Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje (in red), Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, BJP president Amit Shah, MoS for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the launch of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) at Dahod in Gujarat on Sunday.

The scheme aims to provide LPG connections to over 5 crore BPL families in the next three financial years across Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Shah handed over connections to 15 women from BPL families from the three states at yesterday’s event. Shah also complimented Pradhan for effectively steering PMUY through his ministry.
