Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi presented the first look of "Azhar" to cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, who is celebrating his 53rd birthday today.
The 36-year-old actor, who will be portraying the lead role in the film, took to Twitter to wish the former Indian captain.
"Happy 53rd Birthday @mpazhar. Here is my birthday present. Me as You in #Azhar! #HappyBirthdayAzhar @AzharTheFilm," the actor wrote.
In a sepia toned photo, Emraan is seen wearing a white test team jersy.
Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who launched the "Shanghai" actor, said the movie will reinvent Emraan as an artist.
"The reinvention of Emraan Hashmi!," he tweeted along with the first look.
Directed by Tony D'Souza, the film is produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures along with NP Singh and Sneha Rajani.
"Azhar" will hit the screens on May 13.
