Running around the trees, singing superhit romantic numbers must have just landed Emraan Hashmi his very first world tour

Emraan may go on his very first world tour

They say an actor is as good as his last film. But Emraan Hasmi has always been known for the songs he manages to make popular. Without doubt, he’s one actor who has more hit numbers to his credit than those of most of our A-listers put together. No wonder why the star has been approached to perform live in what could be his first world tour ever.

Says a source, “Emraan has one or two superhit songs in every film of his. It doesn’t matter if the film has been a hit or a flop. The songs always seem to work. Event companies obviously realise that his songs have great market value and hence they have been approached him with plans for a world tour.”

The actor seems to be having pretty good luck, especially his much acclaimed role in The Dirty Picture. And though he did not chose to perform at recent award functions, a world tour seems to be something that he would take time out for.

Says Emraan, “I am quite surprised and overwhelmed with requests for me to do tours and stage shows. For now, I haven’t committed to doing any of the shows. I am working on it and I will make an announcement once I zero in on a concrete plan.”

Hashmi is currently busy shooting the sequel to Jannat and the promotions of his political thriller directed by Dibakar Banerjee. And if the tour comes along it would only be an icing on the cake.u00a0
