In the picture captioned, ‘This is literally the bet uncle in the world! So happy he’s home and healthy. #Like #uncle #proud’ (sic), Lauren is seen standing beside her tanned and healthy-looking uncle.

Gascoigne, who has been battling alcohol addiction for many years now, had been sent to a Southampton rehab facility for a three-month stint at the start of the year — his seventh attempt to rid himself of his addiction.

Earlier this month, Gascoigne was spotted looking in great shape while hanging out with his old Tottenham Hotspur teammate Gary Mabbutt. The two former footballers took in the sun on the balcony of Gazza’s Bournemouth flat as they chatted away for hours.

The 46-year-old almost died last year after he was flown to the Arizona rehab facility with financial aid from pals, including cricketer Ronnie Irani, Match Of The Day host and former footballer Gary Lineker, DJ Chris Evans and TV host Piers Morgan.
