It was a walk down memory lane for Bollywood actor Esha Deol Takhtani who came in as chief guest for the prize distribution ceremony of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA)-Mumbai Indians handball tournament at Azad Maidan
Esha was overjoyed when she was told that her alma mater Jamnabai Narsee won the girls U-16 crown. “Jamnabai rocks. I am really proud of these girls,” she said. “I have stepped on this ground after 15 years and I just can’t wait to feel the sand under my feet.u00a0

I miss my childhood days when we used to come here and have fun with friends for hours together. This is the same venue where I made friends for life — Natasha Jitender and Shilarna Vaze. Nobody would mess around with us,” said Esha, a former junior national football and state level handball player.
She posed for photographs with the school kids. “The positive energy that one feels by coming to this ground is completely different,” she stressed.
