Los Angeles: 'Boyhood' star Ethan Hawke is in talks to join Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt in 'Magnificent Seven'.
Ethan Hawke, director Antoine Fuqua and Washington previously worked in 'Training Day'.
Pratt and Haley Bennett, who appeared with Washington in Fuqua's thriller 'The Equalizer', are also in the cast for the remake of classic western, said the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie tells the story of a woman who hires a disparate group of gunslingers to protect her town from rampaging bandits.
The cast of the 1960 original included Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson and Robert Vaughn, among others.
Hawke earned an Oscar nomination for his role in 'Boyhood'.
