Geneva: UEFA yesterday announced that it had decided to shift this week's Europa League match between Dynamo Kiev and Valencia to Cyprus, amid deadly clashes in the Ukrainian capital.
In a statement, European football's governing body said that the "security situation" in Kiev had forced the change to today's scheduled game between the Ukrainian club and the Spanish visitors.

The match will now take place in the Cypriot capital Nicosia today at 8:00 pm (1900 GMT), UEFA said.
At least 26 people have died in fierce clashes between riot police and anti-government protesters in Kiev, amid a three-month stand-off that marks Ukraine's worst crisis since the collapse of the Soviet Union back in 1991.
