I am 20 and really like this guyu00a0 a lot. Everyone says he is weird but I don't see anything amiss when I am out with him. In fact I find him extremely caring and genuine. I don't know why people around him say all this about him. They find him obnoxious and wonder how I can be with him. I think he is totally misunderstood. I come from a broken home and I feel like I can trust him and he'll be there for me. I just don't know what to do. What do you think?u00a0

As they say love is blind and may be you cannot see what the rest of the world can see. There must be something about this guy that is making all the people call him names. For a moment, sit back and think about him as a person. They call him weird and obnoxious, do you see the tell-tale signs or you prefer to ignore them as you are obsessed with him? If you still feel he is a genuine person, then it does not matter if people make fun. If he's going to make you happy then go for it, what matters more is what you think of him than anyone else.
