The police have arrested Mukund Bhor, a school owner and son of former MNS councillor Mandakini Bhor, who allegedly provided the SSC paper to main accused Feroz Khan.

On Thursday, the Ambernath police arrested Khan for selling copies of the SSC Algebra paper (C-code) to his students, just before the exam on the premises of Fatima High School. Khan runs Brilliant Coaching Classes in the same area.

During interrogation, Khan revealed that Bhor had provided the papers to him.

Bhor runs a school, named after his mother, the Mandakini Bhor Madhyamik Vidyalaya, in Ambernath. Mandakini is a former corporator and now works for the MNS party. Bhor’s school is another SSC examination centre.

According to police, just 20 minutes before the exam, Bhor opened the sealed envelope of the question papers and provided a copy to Feroz.

“We have also arrested Bhor. Khan and Bhor have been remanded in police custody till March 18,” said an officer. u00a0
