Kolkata: Considering the factors such as his health and the age (74) of Jagmohan Dalmiya, who was on Monday elected unopposed as the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) during the Annual General Meeting in Chennai, the Indian cricket board officials have decided to appoint an executive secretary for Dalmiya.
This is the first time such a post has been created in the BCCI. Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) Treasurer Biswarup Dey will assist Dalmiya in day-to-day affairs of the Board.
