Faisal Khan doesn't want to be a part of reality shows

Many reality show producers are keen to sign him on as a contestant, but Aamir Khan's once estranged brother Faisal Khan is not keen to be associated with such stuff.

The brothers have now patched up and forgotten the unsightliness of the past and Faisal does not want to

indulge in anything that would prove an embarrassment to his elder brother, who has been very supportive of him all along.

It is learnt that the makers of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao were keen to include him as a participant. They had two rounds of meetings with him but eventually Faisal declined the offer. Says a source, "Faisal gave a patient ear but then he felt this was something he did not want to indulge in at this stage. Nor was it something he could relate to."

The source points out, "Now that he is reconciled with Aamir, he does not feel the need to take on such offers for publicity or for the moolah."

Letting bygones be...

It is learnt that Faisal has been regularly accompanying Aamir to his shoots and is a keen observer of the set goings-on. He even went with the actor for the recent Ladakh outdoor of Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots. As reported ('Bhai God, I'm back'; Hitlist, June 2) he also attends Aamir's production office.

During Bigg Boss 2 last year Faisal was one of the selected contestants and it was widely speculated that he'd talk about his famous brother on the show. It has been reported that this made Aamir uncomfortable, and he'd urged the channel to drop Faisal from the show at the last minute stating his brother's disturbed stateu00a0 could be a cause of concern for other contestants.

Adds the source, "The brothers don't want to talk about their reconciliation but both are letting each other be and Aamir's willing to extend a helping hand." All's well that ends well.
