A photo that has been doing rounds of the internet of Kareena Kapoor Khan kissing a baby in a hospital bed has gone viral. The picture that has gone viral on social media is completely fake.

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their first child, a baby boy at 7.30 am on Tuesday. Kareena opted for a natural delivery, supervised by legendary Mumbai gynaecologist, Dr Rustom Soonawala and his team at Breach Candy hospital.

The couple released a statement that read, "We are very pleased to share with you the wonderful news about the birth of our son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last nine months, and of course, our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all. With love, Saif & Kareena."
